“Santa María de la Rábida” Campus Building

Description

The Santa María de La Rábida Campus building is located at Palos de la Frontera, in the province of Huelva.

The Campus itself was established as part of the Universidad Hispanoamericana de La Rábida, founded in 1943 as an international scientific forum devoted to Americanist study and research.

In 1978, the Universidad Hispanoamericana was transferred to the University of Seville, under the auspices of its Rectorate. This arrangement continued until the 1990s, when it became the permanent seat of the International University of Andalusia, created on 12 April 1994.
