In terms of volumetrics, this building is the tallest on the university campus, standing out amongst all the other buildings. The square-based tower, designed by the OTAISA Group, can be said to be the most representative and emblematic architectural feature of both the former Universidad Laboral and also the present-day Pablo de Olavide University. The upper part of the tower, with its textured brickwork, evokes the Giralda cathedral bell tower of Seville, but in a modern style.
